Any AI takes your corrections.ElenX does the noticing.

ElenX is a research partner for questions you'll be held to. It finds where it would otherwise guess at something only you know, asks only when your answer would change the result, and shows you the assumptions it made everywhere else.

How an investigation runs

The research, and the questions only you can answer

A confident answer with a quiet guess inside it is worse than no answer. Research tools hand you a report. Tools that interview you leave the research to you. ElenX does the research, and brings you the questions that are yours.

You could ask any AI to interview you first. But the questions that matter most often appear halfway, when the research turns up something nobody expected. That is when ElenX asks.

Every investigation moves through three stages.

  1. Scope: The question gets sharper.

Before anything runs, ElenX asks what you are really deciding, what would change your mind, and what you would need to see.

  2. Investigate: It notices, and asks.

While it searches and reads, a separate reviewer, the critic, checks the method and catches guesses before they harden. When a gap is yours to fill, ElenX asks, and says what your answer will change. Where it doesn’t ask, it shows the assumption it made. Correct one at any point: it picks up your note at its next step, without stopping the run.

  3. Present: A conclusion you can explain.

The findings come back with your decisions in them, so you can walk through every part and say why it holds.

At the end of each stage, ElenX shows what changed and keeps a written record of each decision and the reason you gave. Later stages work from that record. It stops only at the end of a stage, and at the questions that are yours.

Inside an investigation

What noticing looks like

Real moments from real investigations, shortened, with identifying details removed.

A guess is caught before it hardens.

Watch what happens just before the agent moves on.

The investigation paused mid-flight: a critic card marked “paused the action”, the agent conceded it should have caught the issue, and a request for the user’s judgment is now open.

An early wrong turn costs more than that turn. Caught here, it reaches you while it can still change the direction.

For questions you'll be held to

When the conclusion carries your name, you need to know which parts are yours. People bring ElenX questions like these:

  • Where to spend the next six months of research, and what to deliberately ignore.
  • Checking your own ideas against the landscape, and seeing where they lead.
  • A strategy for a new product, against where the market is heading.
  • Which technical bet to make next quarter, when the trade-offs depend on priorities only you know.

What to expect

Your pace
The searching and reading run on their own; the investigation moves at your pace: it waits at the questions that are yours, so you can stop, think, and come back to them.
What reaches you
A handful of questions per stage. Each says what your answer would change.
What it works from
The open web, published papers, and documents you add.
What you get
A conclusion you can explain part by part, and the record of the decisions behind it.
